TaskerDue ("we," "us," or "our") is a product of Howard Strategic Holdings LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use taskerdue.com and app.taskerdue.com (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: your email address and a password (stored in hashed form by our authentication provider).
• Task information: the task names, recurrence intervals, due dates, and completion history you enter.
• Phone number and text message consent: if you choose to receive text reminders, your mobile phone number and a record of your consent, including the date and time and the exact consent wording shown to you.
• Billing information: payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full payment card number. We receive limited information such as your subscription status and the brand and last four digits of your card.
• Calendar information: if we offer calendar integration and you choose to connect a calendar, we use the permissions you grant only to add your task due dates to your calendar.
• Usage and device information: standard server logs and information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and maintain the Service; send task reminders by email and, if you opt in, by text message; process payments and manage subscriptions; respond to support requests; protect the security of the Service; improve the Service; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Text Messages

If you opt in, TaskerDue sends text message reminders about your tasks. Message frequency varies based on the tasks and due dates you set. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to cancel, or HELP for help. You can also turn off text reminders in your account settings or by emailing hello@taskerdue.com. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with service providers that help us deliver the Service, such as our text message delivery provider, is permitted. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

4. Service Providers

We share information with companies that help us run the Service, only as needed for them to perform their services: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email delivery), Stripe (payment processing), Twilio (text message delivery), and Google (calendar integration, if you connect it). These providers handle information under their own terms and privacy policies.

5. Advertising and Analytics

We may use analytics and advertising tools, such as those from Google, Meta, and Reddit, to understand how visitors find and use our site and to measure our advertising. These tools may use cookies or similar technologies. They do not receive your phone number or text message consent data. You can control cookies through your browser settings and the opt-out tools those companies provide.

6. Data Retention

We keep your information while your account is active. If you cancel, we keep your information for 30 days in case you return, and then delete it. You can ask us to delete your information sooner by emailing hello@taskerdue.com.

If you opt in to text messages, we keep a record of your consent (your phone number, the date and time, the consent wording shown to you, and your IP address and browser details) for up to five years, including after you cancel or delete your account. We keep it only as proof that you consented. This is the one exception to the deletion timeline above.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and per-user access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Choices and Rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information by emailing hello@taskerdue.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law, and we will respond to requests within the time the law requires. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.

9. Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
